School Lunches
We are delighted to be working with The Pantry as our new school catering provider.
The Pantry is passionate about providing high-quality food made from carefully sourced ingredients, with clear traceability from farm to fork. Their menus are nutritionally balanced, filling, and appetising.
Children can look forward to:
- Menus made with over 75% freshly prepared ingredients
- Two portions of vegetables served with every meal
- Freshly made bread baked daily
- Unlimited visits to the salad bar, featuring a variety of fresh options
- Nutritious homemade dishes, including the special recipe Pantry Tomato Sauce, which is used in many of their dishes and contains 6 hidden herbs and veggies – supercharging school lunches with the nutrients children need to support growth and development
- Freshly baked desserts containing at least 50% fruit or vegetables – and they still taste like a treat!
- Exciting theme days, competitions, promotions and special events throughout the year

Universal Infant Free School Meals
The Universal Infant Free School Meals Scheme (UIFSM) provides funding for all schools to offer lunches to pupils in Reception, Year 1, and Year 2 at no cost to parents.
Pupil Premium Free School Meals
If you are in receipt of certain benefits such as Universal Credit or Job Seeker's Allowance then your child may qualify for the Pupil Premium, which in turn provides Free School Meals for those children in Key Stage 2. If you think your child, whatever their year group, may be eligible to receive this additional funding and support, please speak in confidence to a member of staff in our school office or to Mrs Shortland.
