Mission Statement
‘Together we succeed’
At Sywell, members of our school community will be valued and encouraged to achieve their full potential in all areas. Personal endeavour, responsibility and good behaviour will be nurtured within a Christian environment.
Aims
CHALLENGE: for all individuals to fulfil their potential whatever their race, gender, beliefs, ability or background. To give children the opportunities to develop independence.
CREATIVITY: to encourage individual talents and creativity in the pupils, staff and community and to offer wide and varied opportunities for the whole school.
CELEBRATE: to take pride in our personal achievements and those of our school.
CONSISTENCY: to have clear expectations about high standards of work, behaviour and self discipline and for pupils to take increasing responsibility for their own development.
CHRISTIANITY: to develop a spiritual and moral understanding and respect for the belief of others. To uphold and encourage the values of the Christian faith in partnership with the local Parish Church.
COMMUNITY: to develop positive learning relationships between children, parents, staff, governors, the church and other community members.
CARING: to create a warm, friendly, secure and accessible environment where children, parents and visitors feel valued and welcome.
