Headteacher's Welcome

Welcome to Sywell CE Primary School. We are a small village Primary School with just over 100 pupils (4 classes).

This year we have continued to enjoy our new learning spaces -our fantastic 'green' roofed hall, re- modelled classrooms and central area. We are proud of our links with the arts and have enjoyed working alongside creative practitoners to create our 'secret garden'. We have raised our green eco flag and continue to be commited to eco issues.

We aim to promote a caring and stimulating environment with a strong Christian ethos. Our school has a very good reputation and we are committted to school improvement. We encourage and expect high standards in both work and behaviour. We are proud of all that goes on at Sywell School and we have a dedicated and committed staff team, supportive governors and a caring family atmosphere.

This year we have been awarded our bronze school council award and are working towards our silver Artsmark standard. We have healthy schools status and are  also currently working towards enhanced status. Last year we were a Creative Enquiry school and we remain commited to the arts. Our focus for development this year will be enhancing our school library, creating our prayer garden and continuing to raise standards through personilised work, and development of mathematics.

We are proud of our achievements and welcome the opportunity to show people around our school. If you would like to visit us please phone, email or call in to make an appointment.
